We promise to love your child unconditionally and give them a safe, happy, and loving home where they always know they belong.

We promise to be there for the big moments and the little ones, from first steps and first days of school to bedtime stories, family traditions, celebrations, and everything in between. We promise to listen, encourage, guide, and support them as they grow into the person they are meant to be.

We promise to honor their story and their connection to you. We will speak about adoption openly and honestly and make sure they grow up knowing that their story matters. We will respect their questions and feelings as they grow and will always remind them that they were loved from the very beginning.

We promise to celebrate who they are, including their personality, interests, culture, and heritage. We will encourage them to be curious, kind, confident, and comfortable being themselves.

And most of all, we promise that our child will never have to wonder if they are loved. They will have two parents who will stand beside them, protect them, believe in them, and love them through every chapter of their life.

We both come from Persian backgrounds, and our culture is an important part of who we are. We grew up surrounded by strong family connections, traditions, delicious food, celebrations, and a deep respect for family. Some of our favorite memories are connected to gathering around a table, sharing meals, celebrating holidays, and spending time with grandparents, parents, siblings, and extended family. We celebrate both American and Persian holidays, and we look forward to sharing these traditions with our child. We enjoy cooking together and sharing the foods . We want our child to grow up knowing where each of us comes from while also being encouraged to explore and appreciate other cultures and traditions. We also believe that culture is about more than holidays or food. It is about values, family, kindness, respect, hospitality, and staying connected to the people we love. We hope to give our child a strong sense of belonging and an appreciation for their own story and heritage. If our child has a different cultural or racial background, we will embrace that part of who they are and make sure their culture and identity are celebrated and represented in our home and throughout their life. We want our child to grow up proud of every part of their story.

Italy is one of our favorite places to visit. We love the combination of beautiful scenery, incredible food, rich history, and the relaxed way of enjoying life. Every time we visit, there is something new to discover, from walking through charming streets and exploring historic cities to sitting together over a long meal and enjoying the moment.

What we love most about traveling is not just seeing new places, but experiencing them together. We enjoy trying local foods, learning about different cultures, and creating memories that stay with us long after the trip is over.

Italy is especially meaningful to us because it reminds us to slow down and appreciate the simple things: a beautiful view, a great meal, or an evening spent together. We look forward to sharing that love of travel with our child one day. We hope to show them different parts of the world, introduce them to new cultures and foods, and teach them to be curious and open-minded. Some of our favorite future memories are the ones we haven’t made yet, and we can’t wait to explore Italy and the rest of the world together as a family.

Family has always been one of the most important parts of our lives. We are fortunate that both of our sisters live just about ten minutes away, making it easy to spend time together throughout the week. Hamed’s parents also live only about ten minutes from us, and Giselle’s parents are planning to move within 10 to 15 minutes of our home over the next six months so they can be close and help when a baby arrives. Knowing we will have so much love and support nearby means the world to us. Our family gatherings are always filled with laughter, great food, and meaningful conversations. We love enjoying backyard barbecues, and celebrating birthdays, holidays, and other special occasions together. We also enjoy honoring both American and Persian traditions, especially during the holidays, when everyone gathers to share favorite family recipes and create lasting memories. What makes our family so special is how welcoming, loving, and supportive everyone is. They have shared in our happiest moments, stood beside us through life’s challenges, and have embraced our adoption journey with excitement. This child will be surrounded by caring grandparents, proud aunts and uncles, and a strong support system that will always be there to encourage, celebrate, and love them unconditionally. We can’t wait to watch this child grow up surrounded by family traditions, unconditional love, and people who will always cheer them on. We know they will always have a place where they feel safe, deeply loved, and truly belong.

We are proud to call Southern California home, and we truly love the community where we live. Our neighborhood is filled with families, children playing outside, beautiful parks, and welcoming neighbors who look out for one another. There are community events throughout the year, nearby playgrounds, excellent schools, and countless opportunities for a child to learn, explore, and make lifelong friends.

One of our favorite things about where we live is that the ocean is less than ten minutes from our home. Most weekdays after work, we take our German Shepherd, Roxy, for a walk at the beach or a nearby park. We often imagine the day those walks include pushing a stroller, collecting seashells, building sandcastles, and creating new family traditions together.

Our home is warm, peaceful, and filled with love. We especially enjoy spending time in our backyard, where we garden together. We have apple, plum, and lemon trees, along with a small herb and vegetable garden that provides fresh herbs and tomatoes for our meals. Hamed also built a backyard gym, making it easy for us to stay active together. We love the idea of our child growing up watching healthy habits firsthand, whether it’s helping us in the garden, playing nearby while we work out, or eventually joining us in an active lifestyle. Above all, we hope our home is a place where they always feel safe, encouraged, loved, and free to be themselves.

While we may not know each other yet, we want to share a little bit about who we are and the kind of life we hope to provide. We also want you to know that your role in their life will never be erased or forgotten. We will speak of you with respect and gratitude, and we will make sure your child understands the depth of love behind your choice. You are, and always will be, an important part of who they are.

Our hope is to raise a child who feels confident in themselves, who is kind to others, and who understands the value of empathy and compassion.
